The trip

We are home from vacation. After about 26 hours of driving and lots of fun, we're at home and diving into what the fall brings.

Here's a picture view of our travels.

Our drive started out at 6:45am. Our first stretch break was in NJ. We found a little nature preserve and walked around. The boys found an interesting cucumber that had grown through the chicken wire ...

There was a great pond, and we saw a blue heron catch and devour a fish ...

So, now you're about 5 hours and one sliver removed into our vacation ...
