We're home from Boston!
Yay.
Evan's surgery went well. They removed most of the rest of the birthmark and fixed his eyebrow to match the other one and then did some work on the eyelid. He's got a lot of stitches (we're not sure how many, it's covered with steristrips - we'll know when they come off), but he's doing well. He's such a trooper. He's only complained a few times and after we pray he runs back to playing or whatever he was doing.
Thanks for all your prayers.
(I'll post pictures when there's less swelling and bruising).

Hello? Anyone there?
Hello? Mel, are you there?
Yes! I am here.
What have you been up to?
Trying not to throw up.
Oh. How was your Christmas?
Great. We had a lot of fun. We visited both sets of parents and had a great time with the fam.
How was your New Years?
Good. We had a little party with friends and LOTS of snacks!
Did Greg take the team to NYSUM yet?
Yes. He got home on Sunday. The trip was great.
Good, that's great to hear. Is anything else new happening?
Well, did I tell you that Evan is having his last surgery in Boston in two weeks?
No!
Oh, he is. We've been trying to pull everything together for that. Gabe is going to go for a
week's vacation to my mom and dad's.
That should be fun for him.
Yeah.
So how far along are you now?
9 weeks.
How's that going?
Good (except for the nausea part).
Hey, did I tell you that we're having our FIRST GENERATION CHURCH IN 4 WEEKS!
Really? Wow!
Yeah. We are so pumped. We had to miss for our Christmas Stravaganza, Christmas Eve, New
Year's Eve and Week of Prayer. We are FINALLY going to be able to have our regular
GenChurch and be together and talk about what Jesus is doing in our lives!
I'm happy for you.
Thanks! Me too!
So are you're boys doing anything interesting lately?
You mean besides being boys who are interested in jumping onto and off of everything?
Well...
Yeah. We're having fun. They are totally into Mr. Potato Head and dressing up as King Josiah.
Fun.
Yeah.
Well ... I gotta go.
Okay. Thanks for the chat.
No problem. I've missed you.
And you too.
Bye.
Bye.
