Our little GIRL!

Here she is! Yup. We are having a girl (wait, did you hear that 2 years ago? this time they double and triple checked for us). She is the perfect right size and shape and currently weighs about 8 ounces. We are so excited. Tonight Greg and I are going on a date to celebrate our 6 year anniversery and might squeak in some time to look at some pink stuff!

Outside

We went outside today. Just thought you'd like to know. That's 3 days in a row for the boys now! Spring is springing (I hope)!

Thanks to all of you who were praying for us last week. Aunt Liz was always a blessing to our family. I learned so much from her life about the simplicity of loving Jesus and life.

A few things I learned from Aunt Lizzy:

1. Mew Mew (that's what she called me) is never too old to be spanked.
2. All people are special and to be treasured.
3. Why stand on the scary escalator when you can ride the elevator?
4. Pretending never gets old when you have younger kids to pretend with.
5. She did not need my help with puzzles (refer to #1).
6. Hugs should be special, not just a quick way to say hi (and any hug can be turned
into a slow dance).
7. Love should be expressed.
8. Eating should be loved.
9. Iced tea is the spice of life.
10. All dogs are named Domino.
11. Praising Jesus is best done loud and with great expression with no care to what others around you are thinking.
12. Why put a whole stack of napkins on the table if you're not going to use them all?
13. When you like something, smile about it.
14. If someone around you is getting long-winded in their prayer at dinner, just say Amen and they should get the hint.

Sick

Of any kind of sickness that quickly travels through a family, I think that I hate the stomach flu the most.
We started our little flu journey on Thursday night with Evan and then moved onto Gabriel on Friday night. (Knowing of course, that puking in the night is the worst. Children do not know to run to the bathroom, and at any little whine or call, Greg went running with the bucket.) We then waited, thinking and hoping that all was over. Both boys seemed to be feeling better on Saturday, but alas it was not to be. It went back to Evan on Sunday, adding diarrhea to the puking. Just when "everyone" was starting to feel better, it hit me, then Greg. So now it's Wednesday and we are all finally feeling on the up and up. That was a horrible ride. Yuck.
