First Look of our Second

Here (s)he is! Can you believe that Melanie is already 14.5 weeks along? Well, it's true! We are thrilled to have a new little addition to the family! Sorry that we haven't updated lately, but we hope to more often now that Melanie is feeling better!

And here we are apple picking (and Greg was actually wearing shorts a few weeks ago)! Gabe had lots of fun saying, "peek dee poh-poh" ("pick the apple" for all of you who are toddlerese challenged) and tasting different apples to see which ones were best.

Gabe got another haircut! This time we got wiser and instead of chasing him all over the bathroom with the trimmers, we put him in his high chair! It was much easier, but we still had a little bit of a wiggle problem when it came to cutting around the ears. He is saying a lot of words. This week he says, "bye bye" to everything and everyone not walking toward him. He also thinks that anything with wheels is a car, from the vacuum cleaner to a bike. He's a lot of fun and getting smarter all the time!
We are experiencing lots of growth as a family and in ministry. It's very encouraging, but each new season also comes with its challenges. God is incredibly faithful! Posted by Picasa

The Fedyuvs

We visited Lennon and Diana (and Lyddi) to finish off our vacation. We spent an excellent day at the Strong Museum of Play in in Rochester (top picture of the Daddies and the kids on the train). Gabe and Lyddi had a blast (not to mention the "adults"). Gabe has also recently discovered that he can reach things left close to the edge of the table (ie. the fluff side of a pb&fluff sandwich in the making). He also discovered the fun things to ride at parks and in malls. Here he is working on his driving skills. We were so blessed to be able to spend time with friends. It was very refreshing for us and, as usual, we laughed a lot! Posted by Picasa

Vacation

We went on a really nice vacation this month. We started out on the Jersey Shore (top picture) and then decided to do some day trips from home. We spent one day at Lake George (here's Gabe at The Million Dollar Beach - his first real beach experience - and he loved it!), and a few days with some friends. We did a lot of driving, but had a whole lot of good family time. Posted by Picasa

We're Home!

Hi! We're home now. Actually, we've been home for over a week, but I've been having a little computer trouble and so couldn't update.
We had a great trip. Every part was smooth and fun. We are so proud of all our "kids" on the trip. They were amazing. We were able as a team to introduce many children to Christ as well as a bunch of people who'd never heard before. It's hard to think about, but there are still people in EUROPE who haven't heard about Jesus (Isus) and what He's done for us. We also visited a small village called Doh and had the most amazing communion service I've ever been a part of. I felt the reality of being the Body of Christ with these Gypsy families who'd only known Christ for a short time. We shared testimonies back and forth and the bond God created was unexplainable. I couldn't wait for heaven so that we could understand each other and be friends.
Gabe is doing great, walking all over. He was a bit upset when we came home (I think maybe a touch mad at us for leaving him), but he's doing great now. He loves to play the drums at church, or anywhere he can get his hands on them. He even wanted chopsticks the other day to "play" on his highchair while we were having stir fry. He talks a lot, we're just working on trying to get him to speak English (right now he talks a mile a minute in Baby).
Here's a few pictures of us in Romania/Hungary and of Gabe ...

For such a time as this...

Here we are! Today's theme was Esther. We made crowns (thanks for the supplies!) and talked about how God put Esther in her position to change history. Pray for us, chapel is at 8 (1pm Wednesday). We love you!

We're here!
We wanted to post a few pictures of us having fun serving Jesus here. We are all doing fine and healthy. We're very busy, but here's a glimpse into what we're doing ...

Memorial Day

Memorial Day was lots of fun! Here we are watching
the parade. It was fun to see all the floats in the
beginning, but then came the fire trucks. They were
great, but then they just kept coming and coming
After at least 7 small towns' fire trucks, ambulances
and EMS vehicles in a row, I was getting bored ...
and I like parades! So its no wonder that Gabe is not
looking at the parade here!

Here's our little fish! He did lots of swimming
with his friends to keep cool! He didn't want to
get out! (Don't worry, he was wearing 50 spf) Posted by Picasa

Ridin' my bike!

Gabe has been having so much fun riding his bike!
He just has to figure out which way is down! Posted by Picasa

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY GABE!

We had a very nice little party tonight with Gabe for his birthday. The Deebs came over for cupcakes and ice cream. (You can see that Gabe enjoyed his!) He got a "bike" from us and a loud dump truck from Jayna and Ian. We had lots of fun! Can you believe that he's 1 already?
Time flies.

A few to view ...

We went to the park the other day, and I thought you'd like to see one of Gabe's first picnics! It was a little windy, but we had a lot of fun (he even ate food that he'd smushed into the picnic table).

Here we are!

Hi everyone,
We thought it would be easier to keep in touch with this blog, rather than keep updating the other site! So here you are! Bear with us as we figure it all out.

Sittin' on the chair, enjoying the sun.

Ahhh... spring is in the air, the birds are chirpin', the sun is shining, the chair is comfy, and our little Gabriel is quickly approaching his first birthday. God is good!
